UIUX Studio - Executive - Business Development (2-3 yrs)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive (IT Field) to join our dynamic team. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for strategic and operational business development, including identifying new business opportunities, searching for clients, expanding our service offerings, and facilitating market expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on the IT industry, including emerging technologies, market trends, and competitors. Stay updated on industry developments to identify potential opportunities.
- Generate and qualify leads through various methods, including but not limited to networking, cold calls, emails, referrals, and attending industry events.
- Establish and nurture relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with IT products and services.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to promote IT products and services. Present and explain IT solutions to potential clients, understanding their specific business needs and proposing suitable solutions.
- Create detailed and persuasive proposals and presentations that highlight the benefits and Return on Investment (ROI) of the IT solutions offered.
- Customise proposals to address the unique requirements of each client.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients or partners. Ensure that contracts meet legal and company standards.
- Attend IT industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build a strong professional network, identify potential partners, and stay updated on industry trends.
- Work closely with technical teams and IT experts within the organisation to understand the capabilities of the products and services and align them with client needs.
- Maintain accurate records of business development activities, including the sales pipeline, market analysis, and client interactions. Provide regular reports to management on progress and results.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, business, or a related field is typically required.
- Applicants must have 1-2 years of relevant experience in business development or lead generation.
- A solid understanding of IT products, services, and industry-specific terminology is crucial for effective communication and client understanding.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary to convey complex technical information to non-technical clients.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills are vital to close deals and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Stay informed about IT industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other IT tools for lead management and client relationship management.
- Effective problem-solving skills to address client needs and provide suitable IT solutions.
