Udaan - Category Merchandiser - Fashion (2-4 yrs)
Category Merchandising is the bridge that connects buyers and sellers on Udaan. This is an individual contributor role where you work deeply with data and drive changes in the category selection and visual merchandising blocks on the Udaan app. The objective of this role is to continuously drive the engagement of buyers and sellers on the Udaan platform. A deep love for data analytics with a knack to spot patterns will be essential for this role.
What will you need-
- A Bachelor degree in mathematics, economics, statistics or similar field
- 2-4 years of experience in data analytics projects
- Excellent data analysis, data interpretation and first principle problem solving approach
- Ability to take initiative in a constantly changing work environment and a generalist do-what- it takes mind-set
- A demonstrated record of positively owning and leading initiatives and continuous process improvement mind-set
What you will do-
- Build and tweak existing processes to generate more data and insights in the buyer purchase behaviour and selection supply
- Understand price trends, geographical trends, product specifications which impact buyer behaviour and use them to drive merchandising campaigns
- Work with the technology team to drive frequent campaigns on and off the app to drive mind share of users by presenting relevant selection stories when they need
- Work with buyers and sellers directly to understand their selection and merchandising needs and solve for the same
- Develop weekly/ monthly marketing calendar with seller and team inputs and drive that to closure
- Continuously assess campaign and business performance by maintaining tracker to analyse GMV, sales and festive events in line with the same
- Responsible for engagement metrics and top of the mind share of users
