Udaan - Category Marketing Role - Branding/Events & Engagement (2-4 yrs)
Category Marketing is responsible to drive our key growth driver Positive Word of Mouth for the category. This is an individual contributor role where you will work in collaboration with trade influencer associations, magazines and other channels to drive a positive momentum around Udaan for the category. The objective is to continuously drive community engagement with events and other efforts to make Udaan the obvious and new way to trade in B2b for Fashion vertical. An outgoing personality with demonstrated ability to manage mid to large scale events will be essential for this role.
What will you need-
- A Bachelor degree in engineering, economics or similar field with MBA in General Management
- 2-4 years of experience in event management and community management
- Good data analysis, data interpretation and first principle problem solving approach
- A demonstrated record of kick starting new relationships across trade bodies
- A demonstrated record of positively owning and leading initiatives and continuous process improvement mind-set
What you will do :
- Reach out to various trade magazines, associations and online communities and develop relationships to drive a positive word of mouth for the category
- Drive trade event participation and represent Udaan as per intended scale
- Discover various other branding BTL opportunities to drive top of the mind share in the business community pan India
- Drive engagement events in buyer and seller markets and get the community engaged and aligned with the long term business vision of Udaan
- Drive content marketing in various trade magazines by building and spreading success stories to drive word of mouth
- Responsible for measuring and growing organic indirect growth of business in buyer and seller markets
