Sales/Bid Manager
Experience : Minimum 7+ years in Sales and bid management, procurement in dealing with Government and PSUs.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Sales and Business Development :
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the public sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the public sector.
- Actively participate in sales activities, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and revenue goals for public sector projects.
- Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities.
Bid Management :
- Manage the end-to-end bid process for public sector projects, ensuring timely submission of high-quality bid proposals.
- Coordinate and negotiate with internal stakeholders, such as technical teams and subject matter experts, to gather relevant information for bid preparation.
- Conduct thorough analysis of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs) to provide accurate bid responses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling bid strategies and value propositions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements during the bidding process.
- Track and manage bid evaluations, client interactions, and negotiations to maximize chances of winning public sector projects.
Client Relationship Management :
- Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers in public sector organizations, including PSU, Central Government, and Central Ministry.
- Understand client requirements, pain points, and objectives to propose relevant solutions and services.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations on project bidding and procurement processes.
- Regularly engage with clients to understand their satisfaction levels and promptly address any concerns or issues.
Team Collaboration :
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, legal, and finance, to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team regarding public sector projects and bidding processes.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment to encourage teamwork and knowledge sharing.
Industry Knowledge and Compliance :
- Stay updated with the latest developments, policies, and regulations related to the public sector and procurement projects.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the public sector domain.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the public sector bidding process.
- Represent the organization in industry events, conferences, and seminars to enhance brand visibility and network with potential clients.
