Training Manager - Retail (5-8 yrs)

Areas of Responsibility:

- Content design for product, process & soft skill training programs

- Timely updates of the content

- Video creating & editing for training programs

- Client management & must apply different training methods on floor training.

- Evaluating Training Effectiveness: Continuously evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback from clients, trainees and their supervisors. Must show the ROI impact post trainings

- Daily/Weekly 10 bottom stores visits at base location

- Every month, visit the outstation for refresher training on bottom stores with the client trainer.

- Programs with New Clients

- Quarterly Training & Assessment for Internal Sales Success team

- New Staff Induction training programs

- Timely submitting training reports & training calendar

- Staying Current with Industry Trends: Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends, strategies, and technologies in the retail industry to incorporate them into training programs and provide relevant and effective training.

Qualification & Experience Required:

- 5-8 years in Training function

- Full time MBA in any stream, Bachelor's Degree

- Extensive experience in Training function in the retail/telecom/insurance sector will be an added advantage.

- Availability to travel and visit our retail stores, as needed.

- TNI Analysis - Determine training needs both for individuals & teams

- Training and facilitation skills: A Retail Trainer should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver training sessions, workshops, and presentations effectively.

- Knowledge of training methodologies: Familiarity with various training methods and techniques, such as e-learning, on-the-job training, and classroom training, is important for developing and delivering effective training programs.

- Product and service knowledge: Deep understanding of the company's products and services is crucial for a trainer to effectively train staff on product knowledge, features, and benefits.

- Coaching and mentoring skills: Strong coaching and mentoring skills are necessary to provide ongoing guidance and support to our & as well as client sales staff, helping them improve their performance

- Organization and planning: The ability to plan and organize training activities, create training schedules, and manage resources efficiently is important for a Retail Trainer to ensure smooth training operations.

- Analytical and problem-solving skills: Trainer should have the ability to analyze training needs, identify performance gaps, and develop solutions to address them effectively.

- Adaptability and flexibility: Trainer should be adaptable to different learning styles, be open to change, and adjust training approaches based on the needs and preferences of trainees.

- Professionalism and leadership: Trainer should exhibit professionalism, demonstrate leadership qualities, and serve as a role model for our team & client staff

Skills Required:

- Good in training delivery & public speaking skills

- Highly analytical and Presentation Skills

- Understand barrier in selling.

- Understand psychology of customer

- Experience of working with push strategy

- Must be comfortable speaking Kannada, Hindi & English languages

- Strong influencing abilities & must be comfortable by multi-tasking.

- Strength of character to raise and communicate issues or recommendations

- An appetite for growth and personal development.

- Ability to translate strategies into execution plans and take them to completion

- Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills
