We are looking for a Trade Manager who will focus on the Africa trade lanes. This role will develop and promote the growth of Sea freight/ Air Freight business for Africa region through collaborating with, and supporting Sales and Operations.
Your tasks and responsibilities :
You will be responsible for:
- The management & development of the Africa East trade lane
- Collaborating with all levels of the organization on key opportunities within respective routes
- Development and ownership of strategy and execution to achieve agreed growth targets for designated routes
- Conduct client visits and support via provision of market expertise and knowledge
- Gathering and distribution of relevant market intelligence to key stakeholders within Sea freight / Air Freight operations and sales organizations
Your skills and experience :
We are looking for candidates with the following competences :
- Bachelor degree / MBA (Marketing ) - Preferred
- 5 - 10 years of experience as a forwarder on different trade lanes and a variety of customers. Any other experiences in international trade,shipping, is an asset.
- MS Office and other IT skills: basic MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel.
- Language skills: English speaking and writing, Any other language used in the Africa is an asset.
- You can deliver excellent customer service towards customers and colleagues all over the world, you have good organizing skills and you can work accurately.
