JOB DESCRIPTION-
Marketing Content Writers are responsible for planning, creating, editing and publishing information on various company platforms. Their work includes putting out palatable communication as a company through our Blog, PR, social media channels and supporting different teams.
Skills
- Experience of 1 year in content writing.
- Must have excellent writing and editing skills, with an understanding of the special requirements of writing for the Web and the importance of brevity.
- They must have a good eye for detail, with excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation skills.
- Writers must have good interpersonal skills to work effectively with different teams.
- And, they need good organizational skills to collate material from multiple sources and produce web content within tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- A degree in Journalism is preferred. Content writers working in a specific field, such as technology and education start-ups are preferred but we are open to people from other fields also. Previous experience in an editorial or Web-related position also is an advantage.
- Content Development and Collaboration
- Creating material from scratch as well as collating work from contributors, such as copywriters, product managers, marketing executives, engineers, knowledge team, photographers, publishers or image libraries to gather material for websites.
- Monitoring
- Checking the relevancy of the communication with the audience.
