Toffee Insurance - Business Head - Cycle Insurance Vertical (6-15 yrs)

Some thoughts on your role :
We prefer you to come from a startup mentality where you are handling NCR (mandatory) and preferably neighboring states (Haryana, UP/UK, Punjab). Involved in channel development & sales
You likely would be :
- Develop and run the business as an entrepreneur for our CYCLE BUSINESS CATEGORY.
- Building or scaling insurance proposition on top of an existing retail or hybrid (digital and retail) networks with appropriate vendor engagement and sales strategies
- Managing and building the distribution channels with regular monitoring of sales and collections
- Modeling and evaluating the appropriate strategy to enter new markets
- Identifying and networking with distributors for deeper market penetration
- Working in tandem with the marketing team for customer acquisition by executing brand promotion activities
- Working closely with dealers and distributors and assist them to promote the company's products and be a SPOC for NCR (mandatory) and preferably neighboring states (Haryana, UP/UK, Punjab).
- Ensuring successful New Product Launches in terms of both distribution and volume and working closely with the product team for building of efficient technology platform for client servicing
- Planning and preparing processes for vendor on-boarding, merchant tie-ups and payment processes
- Maintain monthly business growth run rate, evaluate the leakages and solve the problem and grow the business
- Liaison with multiple teams like- Tech, Product, Marketing and city ops team to execute the daily challenge
A successful candidate is someone with :
- More than 6 years of distribution, channel sales, partnership and alliances experience.
- Proven People management skills demonstrated in the past
- Degrees don't matter to us but definitely a degree or good experience in sales and distribution helps.
- You will closely collaborate with the CEO, CFO and the Head of Product to collaborate on a product strategy and technology roadmap at the onset.
- You should know your and team's limitations but can identify experts to fill these gaps.
- You will be responsible for hiring the core development team from here on. You should be able to identify and attract talent that aren't just gifted but will help shape the culture of the business.
- Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. If you are also an excellent communicator and public speaker, we'd like to meet you.
