- The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with Clients to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
Responsibilities :
- Identify and acquire valuable Clients (sellers)
- Develop new relationships in an effort to grow Client and help company expand
- Maintain existing Clients
- Think critically when planning to assure project success
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and Client's satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new markets and Client's needs
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients- objectives.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Qualifications :
- 0-3 years of experience in sales or business development.
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA is preferred.
- Deep understanding of e-commerce is required (preferably prior experience in e-commerce).
- Proven negotiation skills, influencing abilities
- Strong numerical and analytical aptitude
- Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
- Detail-oriented
- Smart, enthusiastic, hard-working, and creative
- Innovative, team oriented, and have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities
- Demonstrated active listening skills, highly consultative and solutions-oriented
Preferred qualifications :
- MBA is preferred
- Experience with e-commerce, retail, advertising, or media would be an advantage.
- Experience selling nascent (embryonic/start-up) products/services into new markets is desired.
- Experience with Sales or Account Management in e-commerce is a plus
