Third Bridge - Sales Representative (1-4 yrs)
Third Bridge's Sales Team is responsible for fueling the growth of the Third Bridge business through new client acquisition. The Sales Associate role is a great opportunity to develop business acumen, deepen the understanding of sales processes and methodologies, and develop lead generation and prospecting skills. You will partner with Sales Representatives to create and drive new business, and as such, are responsible for supporting the new client acquisition end-to-end process.
The Sales Associate will aim to become a trusted resource of Sales Representatives and develop relationships with prospects, acting as the initial point of contact.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will :
- Lead prospecting activities to identify and engage with potential investors and strategic partners within the private equity ecosystem, fostering awareness of Third Bridge's services and arranging high-quality interactions.
- Support the development and management of a robust new business pipeline within the private equity domain, balancing the creation of new opportunities with successful conversion strategies.
- Contribute to the formulation of quarterly territory plans led by the Sales Representatives, with a keen focus on aligning efforts with the unique dynamics of the PE market to achieve ambitious quota targets.
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Third Bridge's solutions, emphasizing their relevance and value proposition within the private equity landscape, and adeptly leverage this knowledge in all client engagements.
- Effectively collaborate with AVP Sales to meticulously document all client interactions and activities within internal systems, ensuring seamless coordination and transparency throughout the sales process, utilising platforms such as Salesforce.com.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to pinpoint top prospects within the private equity industry, discerning their specific needs and tailoring outreach strategies accordingly to establish credibility and generate interest.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the private equity sector, fostering active communication and engagement to cultivate lasting partnerships based on mutual benefit and trust.
- Consistently apply an insightful approach to all internal and client-facing activities, leveraging industry expertise and market intelligence to deliver impactful solutions that address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by private equity professionals.
- Develop a deep understanding of each client's investment focus, portfolio composition, and strategic objectives, enabling personalized engagement and value-driven interactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
-3-5 years of sales or sales support experience within the private equity or financial services industry, demonstrating a strong track record of quota achievement and client engagement.
-Proven experience in lead generation through cold calling and various tools
-Proficiency in leveraging internal resources, tools, and systems, including Salesforce.com, to streamline workflow processes and optimise sales performance.
-Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to articulate complex concepts and build rapport with high-level stakeholders in the private equity domain.
-Intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning, coupled with the adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment characterised by continuous change and innovation.
-Strong time management and organisational abilities, with a knack for multitasking and prioritising tasks effectively to meet deadlines and exceed performance targets within the demanding private equity landscape.
