JD: Sales Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

Lead management

- Compile and update the database of client lists for both new & existing customers.

- Send a questionnaire and ask probing questions to understand & establish the needs, desires, and problems of the customer.

- Set up meetings between our technical team and customers at their locations. Collect all data about their Noise problems.

- Prepare an Excel sheet for the techno-commercial proposal.

Sales meetings

- 75% of sales travel PAN India.

- Consistently set up sales meetings with prospective clients and show the value of our products and services.

- Study customer requirements, collect data required as per the checklist, and prepare MOM to handle objections from the customers.

- Negotiation skills are necessary to build a win-win situation.

Consistent Follow-Up

- Coordinate with prospects for further clarity about the status of the techno-commercialproposal.

- Keep track of inquiries, sales meetings, and receipt of P.O. & get the P.O. checked by the Technical and Accounts team.

Communication

- Being the point of contact between the customer and the business development team to ensure customer happiness by complying with quality & assuring timely delivery.

- Always maintain high and happy energy while speaking/interacting with customers.

- Coordinate with the operations team (Design, Production & Quality) for manufacturing, installation, maintenance, support, documentation and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes and customer requirements.

Measurement Metrics

- Number of sales meetings conducted per month.

- Number of techno-commercial offers sent to prospects and their accuracy in relation to customer requirements.

- Lead to sales order conversion ratio.

- Number of self-generated leads

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Responsible for determining customers' specific technical requirements and product feature needs; assisting in determining customers' project scope and definition of work; generating submittal packages in consultation with the engineering team (product data sheets; bill of materials; standard and customer drawings; layout and connection detail drawings; return on investment analysis; etc.); creating standard drawings for typical product applications. generating quotes.


2. Having background experiences and studies in mechanical engineering line. Ability to combine technical knowledge with sales skills to provide advice and support on a specific range of products.

3. To monitor customers' and competitors' activities in the market and update important customer and competitor information to the management.

4. People with high energy levels and positive attitudes shall be able to cover the market and communicate with decision-makers to bring profitable business to the organization.

5. The Sales Engineer will also provide post-sales support, including identifying any issues that may arise during the onboarding of users to ensure customer satisfaction.

6. We are looking for a results-driven, self-driven sales professional to actively seek out and engage customer prospects.

- Graduate Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of Sales Experience in selling goods/services, in the field of Heat and Noise mitigation at the manufacturing area, construction/infra building etc.

- Will be responsible for contacting the leads generated by the Marketing team & contacting existing customers of the company.

- Dynamic sales conversion history is a must.

- Excellent communication and engagement skills.

- Challenge-taking and learning aptitude

- Hands-on and can-do attitude - high energy, positive, deadline-driven, dependable with an ability to deliver results with aggressive deadlines.

- Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a cloud software organization with a rapidly evolving product and growing customer base.
