About Job-
As a Modern Trade Specialist at The Wellness Shop, you will manage relationships with large retail partners, ensuring our products achieve optimal visibility and sales growth. You will be responsible for driving trade promotions, negotiating contracts, and maintaining product stock and merchandising in modern trade channels. This role requires strong relationship management, negotiation, and analytical skills to ensure sales targets are met and exceeded in a competitive market. Key Responsibilities:
1. Modern Trade Channel Management:
o Manage relationships with modern trade accounts, including large retail chains, supermarkets, and hypermarkets.
o Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth in modern trade channels.
o Ensure product visibility, optimal stock levels, and proper merchandising across all outlets.
2. Business Development:
o Identify new business opportunities within the modern trade segment to increase brand presence and sales volume.
o Negotiate terms, agreements, and contracts with key retail partners.
o Manage and track the performance of trade promotions and offers.
3. Sales and Revenue Growth:
o Monitor and achieve sales targets and KPIs for modern trade channels.
o Analyse sales data and generate actionable insights to improve revenue and market share.
o Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to create promotional strategies.
4. Account Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key account stakeholders.
o Conduct regular meetings with partners to ensure smooth operations, resolve issues, and discuss performance.
o Ensure timely delivery of products and address any stock-related concerns.
5. Market and Competitor Analysis:
o Conduct regular market visits to understand customer preferences, market trends, and competitor activities.
o Use insights to recommend changes or enhancements to product offerings and sales strategies.
6. Reporting and Analytics:
o Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and promotional effectiveness.
o Track and manage trade spend and budgets for modern trade accounts.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in modern trade sales or key account management, preferably within the beauty, personal care, or FMCG sector.
- Strong understanding of the modern trade environment and retail operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment while meeting critical deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and software
