The Social Booth - Copywriter (2-5 yrs)
About the role
The ideal candidate is a team player, talented wordsmith, and someone who is passionate about creating content that resonates with the audience. You will be responsible for developing marketing content that will distinguish us from the crowd.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with internal partners to interpret project briefs and develop and translate relevant concepts into content
- Work in collaboration with the client/ servicing team for planning, developing and executing the brand's content strategy
- Responsible for creating monthly social media calendars; be a part of the campaign planning and content execution process
- Responsible for the day-to-day content deliverables on the accounts assigned to you
- Ensure that all products are proofed and ready for delivery or posting
- Prepare files and concept boards for client review and presentation
- Work closely with the design team on creative briefs for your clients/ pitch work; produce new ideas for print, branding, promotional campaigns & digital collaterals
- Ensure adherence to timelines discussed with the team
- Be up to date about everything digital - content, changes on social media platforms, audience research, knowledge of how specific audiences respond to content on specific platforms, etc
- Be a part of brainstorming meetings and creative sessions with the design & account management team (wherever required)
- Should understand and be able to explain to the team content best practices of various platforms (FB/ IG/ Twitter/ Websites/ etc) while working on content strategies for brands at The Social Booth
- Should be adept at leveraging cultural references and topical conversations for creating branded content aligned with the brand's business
Skill set requirements
- 2 - 4 years of relevant copywriting experience in the digital marketing/ advertising industry
- Have a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising/ English/ Marketing Communication from renowned universities, colleges or institutions
- Great copywriting skills
- Up to date with everything digital and social - regularly spend time on social media, follow different brands; if you have your own website, social media presence, please ensure its mentioned in the CV
- Must know the basics of digital marketing - social media, Google Ads, SEO, etc
- Should be comfortable with creating presentations
- Should be a problem solver and should be passionate about making things happen - adapt to new technologies, deliver projects within tight deadlines or convince clients to opt for content strategies/ campaigns that have never been done before
