Job Title: Community Building Intern
Company: The SOWL Academy
Location: Work from office or client locations as needed
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6 hours a day(flexible)
Duration: 3 months
Pay: Rs 7500/ per month
Job Description:
As a Community Building Intern at The SOWL Academy, you will be an integral part of our team, supporting initiatives that strengthen and grow our community. You will also collaborate with diverse stakeholders, organize events, and implement strategies to enhance member satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute community events, both online and offline, to foster engagement and build relationships among members.
- Initiate engaging and relevant conversation topics within the community.
- Monitor and respond to community inquiries and feedback through various communication channels (e.g., social media, forums, email).
- Generate engaging content for community newsletters,, social media platforms, and other communication channels to keep members informed and engaged.
- Research and analyze trends, opportunities, and challenges within the community.
- Collaborate with teams to support marketing campaigns and initiatives aimed at community growth.
- Maintain and update community databases and member profiles to ensure accuracy and relevance of information.
- Develop and implement community outreach programs on a regular basis to attract new members and promote inclusivity.
Requirements:
- Passion for community building and driven by social impact.
- Previous experience in community engagement, event planning, or customer service is an asset.
- Service oriented mindset is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
- Creativity is essential.
Qualifications:
Graduate in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
