About The Media Ant

The Media Ant is a 9-year-old company in the AdTech space. We aim to disrupt the traditional process of executing ad campaigns through a physical media agency and replace it with a self-serve advertising platform. The platform should work equally well for both online and offline media.

Job Description:

The right person in this role should be currently handling Search Engine Optimization for an online product or brand. He/She should have a minimum 2 of years of experience in SEO. The person should be hands-on with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEO Moz (or equivalent), and a few excel add-ons. Google SEM certifications and tech understanding are considered an additional qualification. Good written and spoken English is required for creating Meta, Title, and Body Copy.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Grow The Media Ant's business by growing the relevant traffic to the portal

- Responsible for analysing, creating, and implementing SEO changes and strategy

- Performs ongoing keyword research for The Media Ant and its competition

- Identifies and executes on-page optimization

- Collaborates with developers and product teams to implement necessary features and changes that can improve SEO

- Research, analyse, benchmark, and follow up the search engine area and implement recommendations by keeping updated on the new search engine algorithms and scoring updates

- Periodically report on SEO key performances indicators such as Google keyword ranking

- Collaborate closely with SEM in Marketing to find the best balance across organic and paid search

Desired Skills & Experience : 

- Has created a content strategy with an aim to improve SEO

- Technical knowledge of how ranking works, areas of penalization, and handling them

- Has created and managed KPI reports for SEO performance

- Broad knowledge of SEO-specific tools such as Google Crawler, SEO Moz, Google Analytics, Webmasters, and SERP reporting tools

- Basic understanding of SEM

- Ability to analyse and break down large amounts of data

- It will be good to have experience or understanding of code (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript) that can impact SEO

- Good written and spoken English

Educational Qualification & Work Experience : 

- B.Tech or BCA and higher

- MBAs / Postgraduate

- Non-Technical graduates or higher

- Between 2-4 years of experience in SEO and a maximum of 5 in overall digital marketing
