Territory Sales Manager - Insurance (2-6 yrs)
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for acquiring and developing retail business through team and relationships. Ensuring top and bottom line achievement of numbers and budgets are achieved for the zone
- Drawing the budget and formulate strategies to control acquisition cost
- Focus on Tie-ups with intermediaries for Zonal / Regional Level critical alliances to develop mutually beneficial relationships
- Driving the channel sales and owning the responsibility of its overall performance including the profitability and achievement of the budget
- Assist operational managers in their sales initiatives by bringing in support from the head office
- Work closely with various departments within the company to smoothen operational procedures to facilitate faster closure of sales related matters.
- Should have through knowledge of the market, must be aware of competition practices and should provide regular feedback to top management for advance planning
- Should be well aware of the company's underwriting and operation procedures and all other aspects required to ensure achievement of desired objectives
- Should guide the team on regular basis by providing performance feedback (relevant for professionals with teams)
- Responsible for monthly reviews and analysis with the CEO / Director
Requirements
- Should be a go getter
- Assertive door opener
- Ability to work with offline policies as well as online.
- Will be reporting to Channel Head / Sales Head (depending on location)
- Advance knowledge of all types of retail insurances particularly health and life.
- It would count to have exposure to SMEs and large corporate.
- Relevant experience of at least 2-4 years
- Sr. Manager and higher designations will have team responsibility.
- Experience in handling team in Insurance retail sales is mandatory.
- Minimum education requirements : Graduate
- Additional diplomas / certifications will be preferred.
