Territory Sales Manager - BFSI (3-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Sales Strategy and Planning :

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve territory sales targets.

- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

- Prepare sales forecasts and budgets for the territory.

Business Development:

- Identify and acquire new customers within the assigned territory.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and distribution partners.

- Conduct regular market visits to understand customer requirements and gather feedback.

Sales Execution:

- Execute sales plans and promotional activities to increase product visibility and sales.

- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports on sales activities, results, and market conditions.

- Ensure the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Customer Relationship Management:

- Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly.

- Provide excellent customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

- Maintain a customer database and ensure regular follow-up with clients.

Team Management:

- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.

- Provide training and support to team members to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge.

- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Inventory and Stock Management:

- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure product availability.

- Manage stock rotation and minimize stockouts and excess inventory.

- Implement effective merchandising strategies to maximize product placement and visibility.

Compliance and Reporting:

- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports and documentation as required.

- Keep abreast of industry regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

- 3 to 10 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG, FMCD, or Retail industries.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

- Strong understanding of the local market and customer preferences in Kochi.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proficiency in MS Office and sales management software.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in managing a sales team.

- Knowledge of retail and distribution channels.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
