Territory Account Manager - B2B/Government Sales (6-8 yrs)
PURPOSE :
- New Business Generation through Channel Partners and direct channels with in depth understanding of key customer needs and their requirements.
Reporting to: B2B Head - Enterprise, India
OBJECTIVES :
- Develop business from Central Government & PSU business, along with channel partners.
- To generate quality Sales leads in order to meet the Monthly Sales Targets, directly or through partners.
- Strong level of existing engagement with some Ministry's / PSU's.
- Comfortable with Account Mapping of various Ministry's and related Departments within them.
- Identify Key Influencers/Decision Makers within Govt Departments.
- Maintain and expand database of prospects - identify key competition accounts for direct engagement or through partners.
- Develop partner's teams to tap key Govt segments in order to build the prospect base.
- Understanding of the GeM portal and it's functioning. Required to engage in discussions and meetings with GeM authorities.
- Understanding of Govt tenders and it's process.
- Comfortable with Daily Call Reports and Funnel Management.
- Understanding of the mobile device sales. Can train and perform effective demos/sales pitch/presentations to prospects.
- Overcome objections of prospective customers and provide support to the partner teams.
STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT :
- Manage critical resources of partners to build stronger relationship with their key accounts and prospects
- Manage, review and develop partners of the territory, along with direct accounts.
QUALIFICATION :
- MBA from a known/reputed institute
- 6 to 10 years of relevant work experience in Government business.
- Experience of handset sales in Govt departments / PSU's will be an added advantage.
- Self-starter, seeking a new professional challenge and a role with enormous growth potential.
- Excellent Communication, negotiation and presentation skills; Self-motivated, with high energy and enthusiasm.
- Having Strong interpersonal skills.
