Job Summary :
The Remote Telesales Representative is responsible for contacting potential customers by phone from their home office to promote and sell products or services. They play a crucial role in generating sales leads, building and maintaining customer relationships, and meeting sales targets while working in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Make outbound calls to potential customers from a home office to explain and promote products or services.
2. Identify and qualify sales opportunities through effective questioning and active listening.
3. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the company's products or services to effectively address customer inquiries and objections.
4. Record and update customer information in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system, which is accessible remotely.
5. Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas set by the company while working independently.
6. Follow up on leads and customer inquiries promptly from the remote location.
7. Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service, even when not in a traditional office setting.
8. Collaborate with the sales team and sales manager through virtual meetings and communication channels to achieve company goals.
9. Keep accurate records of sales and interactions with customers using remote tools.
10. Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities and challenges while working from home.
Requirements :
1. High school diploma or equivalent (some roles may require a college degree).
2. Proven telesales or sales experience is a plus.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in virtual environments.
4. Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities.
5. Familiarity with CRM software and remote work tools.
6. Ability to work independently and maintain focus while working from home.
7. Persistence and resilience to handle rejection and objections.
8. Time management and organizational skills, particularly important when managing remote work tasks.
Working Conditions :
- Remote Telesales Representatives work from a home office or remote location, making outbound calls for a significant portion of the day.
