Designation : Academic Counsellors (Tele callers)

Location : Santacruz, Mumbai

Experience : Minimum 1 year.

Role Summary :

The role holder will engage with students, parents, and educators to attract the students interest to the courses offered .They will provide guidance and help students to understand the academic programmes/courses offered at Institute along with the programme structure, scope, fee structure, admission process, entrance tests, scholarship eligibility etc. This engagement will be carried out telephonically.

Responsibilities :

Selected Academic Counsellors post their in-depth training on the various course offerings will have the undermentioned as their day-to-day responsibilities:

- Counsel prospective students and teachers about the programmes offered across the Institute

- Maintain call records and follow-up systematically through telephone calls, recording all details in the software

- Maintain a database and work on a target list (a certain minimum every day)

- Create and share updates and reports with the Manager, Admissions

- Develop insights about the types of leads and recommend unique ways of engaging with the students/parents

- Study various avenues and forums where prospective students congregate

- Handle any other admissions and outreach task assigned by the Manager, Admissions.

Key Skills :

- Excellent English communication and influencing skills

- Engage with students and parents in a warm and friendly tone, yet professionally handle the interaction ensuring to provide all required information about the course offerings

- Should rigorously follow-up on all activities related to admissions and exhibit attention to detail

- Should align with the close-knit team across admissions and other teams like communication & outreach

- Should deal with a dynamic team and a fast-paced start-up environment, and hence, would need to adapt and learn quickly

- Should exhibit persistence and persuasion to get the required tasks completed timely.
