Technip Energies - Manager - Sales & Business Development (10-15 yrs)
Roles and Responsibilities :
Job Purpose :
- The Business Development Manager holds a high responsibility and will play a vital role in helping the Company achieve its sales and business goals.
- Works closely as a first point of contact for client, coordination with internal engineering departments, Commercial departments & IBU management to ensure a good flow of information throughout the business.
- Establish and maintain relationships with Client organizations within India & Abroad.
- Understanding of client requirements for Energy Transition and Decarbonization. Understand intended developments and be responsible for day-to-day contact with these clients. Involved in identification of preferred opportunities and developing strategy for capture and execution of prospects. Represent the Company at various meetings and events, promoting the Company's capabilities, product lines and services, always maintaining a positive and professional impression.
Job Accountabilities :
- Sector : Oil & Gas, Power, Steel.
- Business Development, Marketing and Sales of T.EN offerings in India according to Company's strategy.
- Identification of business opportunities, determine customer's needs and priorities, formulation of prospect strategies including capture strategies for the positioning of the company to maximize benefits from its resources.
- Develop and manage client key accounts.
- Study Tender enquiry and clearly define the requirements to Proposal Teams.
- Ensuring full compliance with Sales Process / T.EN GPS
- Negotiate and finalize the contracts on behalf of the company.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of markets and Technip Energies product portfolio.
- Provide in-house support for preparation of proposals and assist in formulating sales strategy.
- Gathering competitor information and analyzing it.
- Speedy response to client
Profile :
Must Have :
- Bachelor's degree is Mechanical or Chemical engineering. MBA would be an added advantage.
- 10-15 years of Experience in Sales & Business development for Technology, Consultancy services, EPC in hydrocarbon, fertilizer, petrochemical industry etc. Currently active for business development in Green Hydrogen, Green Ammonia, E-Methanol, Green Methanol, CO2 capture.
- Knowledge of changing market scenario with growing importance of Energy Transition & Decarbonization.
- Result oriented approach and ability to deliver targets.
- Managed key stakeholders from client side at various levels with understanding on who's who in the market.
- Knowledge of commercial concepts.
- Commercial acumen, interest to learn commercial aspects
- Excellent Planning and Organizing Skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to the role.
- Good Presentation and Communication Skills
- Learning agility & Ability to work under pressure.
