The Job:
As Technical Sales Engineer, you will be identifying opportunities for new business development by following up on leads and conducting research on target clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- New business generation by meeting potential clients to understand their needs and providing relevant solutions.
- Managing the sales process to close new business opportunities.
-Building strong relationships with the existing portfolio of clients.
- Meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly activity and revenue targets.
- Ensuring effective and efficient maintenance services of electrical and field instruments and resolving any electrical and instrumentation issues.
- Ensuring electrical and instrument maintenance as per best practice, corporate policy and regulatory requirements.
- Acting as a first point of contact for complex repairs and working closely with vendors to address and resolve technical issues.
- Identifying and evaluating opportunities for implementing automation to improve productivity and quality.
- Programming and testing of robots.
- Managing, maintaining, and improving automation systems.
Ideal Candidate :
- You possess a degree/diploma in Electronics and Electrical engineering.
- You have at least 1-year experience within a Sales Engineer or Engineering role, ideally within the Precision Engineering/ Semiconductors/ Robotics, Manufacturing, and Electronics industry.
- Experience within IOT / Automation and Electrical & Instrumentation would be a strong advantage.
- You have a proven track record of meeting/exceeding your targets.
- You have solid experience in a regional role ideally including experience covering India.
- You have a strong experience in consultative sales and possess the ability to prospect and manage senior-level relationships.
- You are a strong networker & relationship builder
- You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
- You are a strong mentor and coach who builds high-performing teams
- You are willing to undertake 30-60% travel.
