Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Technical Sales Engineer with a strong background in Measurement and Sensing, specifically within Gauging Industries.
Job Description:
Technical Sales:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets Cultivate and expand relationships with existing customers while actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Lead Generation:
- Proactively generate leads through field visits, cold calls, and electronic communication.
- Identify and pursue business opportunities to expand the customer base.
Product Demonstration and Sales:
- Demonstrate products to potential customers and articulate their applications effectively.
- Work individually or collaboratively with the Support Team to conclude sales successfully.
Business Strategy Implementation:
- Implement business strategies devised by the company to achieve sales targets and profitability goals.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Identify market needs and provide competitive information to the company for future product developments.
- Regularly report on market trends and customer feedback to contribute to strategic planning.
Dealer Business Management:
- Drive dealer business in each region to achieve set targets.
- Facilitate dealer support to maximize returns and ensure pursuit of set targets.
Payment and Customer Satisfaction:
- Ensure timely recovery of payments and adherence to commercial frameworks.
- Prioritize and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction to ensure customer retention.
Communication and Coordination:
- Collaborate with Customers, Dealers, CSC, Application & Support Department, and Engineering
Department to facilitate smooth operations from inquiry generation to installation and receipt of
payment.
Region Analysis and Target Achievement:
- Study the potential in allocated regions, analyze applications, and evaluate competition to achieve business targets.
- Plan and implement strategies, in consultation with Asst. Manager Sales and GM-Sales, to achieve set targets and profitability goals.
Customization and Order Management:
- Understand customer requirements, facilitate customizations for bulk orders, and ensure deliveries and installations to customer satisfaction with the support team.
Customer Support:
- Provide expert technical support to customers, addressing inquiries related to the installation, operation, and troubleshooting as and when required.
Adherence to Company Policies:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines in all business activities.
Other Assigned Responsibilities:
- Execute any other responsibilities assigned by the company as required.
Product Knowledge:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of our measurement instrumentation and sensing products,
especially in gauging, including technical specifications and applications in industries.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical sales with a background in Measurement and Sensing technologies, particularly in gauging industries.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and industry events.
