Technical Sales Engineer - Spares (3-8 yrs)
Position Technical Sales Engineer (Sales & Marketing - Spares, Upgrades)
Department Customer Service (Spares, Upgrades)
Qualification Degree Or Diploma Engineer (Instrumentation/Electrical)
Experience 3-4 years
Job Responsibility (Primary)
1. Searches for new clients who benefits from FLSmidth products or services and maximizes client potential
2. Develops relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements
3. Persuades clients that FLS products or services best satisfies their needs in terms of 3. quality, price and delivery
4. Negotiates contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
5. Provides pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services
6. Participates in the proposal phase with technical assistance, equipment specifications, estimations and analyses
7. Performs technical presentations and demonstrates how a product meets client needs
8. Liaises with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
9. Provides training and produces support material for members of the sales team
10. May help in the design of custom-made products
11. May be responsible for setting priorities on a weekly basis and ensuring that ongoing cases will meet expectations within determined parametres
12. Customer coordination for offers
a. Generation of offers in ERP
b. Costing for the spares, upgradation orders
c. Submission of Offers
13. Sale order generation
a. Payment follow ups (For advance/PI payments)
b. Preparation of the report.Study the drawings.
14. Execution documentation:
a. PI Preparation
b. despatch letter / L.R. Updataion and other letters with customer cordination.
c. Submission of ABG, PBG as applicable.
