Team Lead - Sales - Electric Vehicle (5-8 yrs)
Job Title : Team Leader - Sales (E-LCV)
Location : Gurgaon & Faridabad
About the Role :
As a Team Leader for Sales of Electric Light Commercial Vehicles (E-LCV) at Switch Mobility, a 100% subsidiary of Ashok Leyland, you will be responsible for driving sales across your assigned territory.
This role requires a deep understanding of the commercial vehicle market, especially in the context of electric vehicles (EVs). You will play a critical role in understanding customer needs, recommending suitable products, effectively pitching them, negotiating terms, and generating business.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and manage a sales team, driving them to achieve and exceed sales targets.
2. Lead Generation : Proactively generate leads from the market through various methods, including networking, referrals, and market research.
3. Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term business associations.
4. Product Presentation : Present and demonstrate E-LCV products to potential customers, customizing the pitch to align with their specific needs and expectations.
5. Negotiation & Deal Closure : Engage in negotiations to finalize deals, ensuring both customer satisfaction and company profitability.
6. Market Knowledge : Maintain a strong understanding of the LCV market, with a focus on electric vehicles and industry trends.
7. Territory Management : Be willing to travel extensively across the assigned territory to meet clients, assess market conditions, and close sales.
8. MIS & Reporting : Prepare and manage Management Information System (MIS) reports, utilizing MS Office to monitor performance, forecast sales, and strategize accordingly.
9. Sales Strategy Implementation : Collaborate with higher management to develop and execute effective sales strategies tailored to the unique characteristics of the E-LCV market.
Requirements :
- Experience : Relevant experience in automobile sales, particularly in the commercial vehicle or EV segment.
- Education : Graduate or holder of an Engineering diploma; additional qualifications in sales or marketing are advantageous.
- Communication Skills : Strong verbal communication skills in English, Hindi, and the regional language of the territory.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data management and reporting.
- Driving License : A valid 4-wheeler driving license is essential.
