Team Lead - Marketing - Startup (3-5 yrs)
We are an educational gaming company, focussed on empowering India's youth with the tools and knowledge to create value for themselves and the society at-large. Pegged to launch in October 2021, we are looking for a young dynamic person to come on-board as a core-team member and lead our marketing efforts for the launch and beyond.
You will be required to create innovative and relevant cross-platform multi-channel strategies, oversee their execution, track their performance and iterate to make them more effective.
Responsibilities :
- Lead our Marketing, Advertising, Community and Branding initiatives across campaigns; support BD & Sales initiatives
- Manage all marketing efforts including planning, research, campaign design and communication in-line with our objectives.
- Analyze marketing program effectiveness and KPIs to drive continuous improvement in strategy and output
- Manage a team of 4 to 5 to drive all marketing & BD activities
- Participate in organization-wide strategy and growth planning, and execution
- Introduce the best practices for Performance marketing campaigns and ensure successful implementation.
- Develop the user acquisition funnel & achieve maximum impact on CPI & CLTV.
- Oversee marketing expenses and resources including relationships with external vendors and advertising and media firms
- Contribute to business development initiatives in the identification and realization of opportunities with the co-founders
Qualifications :
- Entrepreneurial with a self-starter mentality, who can create their own agenda, recruit their team & work with limited supervision
- Experience in designing and leading offline marketing campaigns & community building
3-5 years' in managing digital and offline marketing for high-growth startups or brands; Edtech/Gaming experience preferred
- Experience in working with data and analytical tools such as SQL or R
- Experience in working across various digital marketing platforms & CRMs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, multitasking and project management skills
Compensation :
- Given that you will be one of the first 10 people to join our team, we will compensate you with a mix of equity and cash. There will also be performance-based bonuses in-line with revenue generation targets.
- We are going to boot-strap till our launch, and are looking for people who are willing to take a cut in the cash component for a few months, in exchange for equity and the potential of a better than the market salary once we generate revenues/raise money.
