Regional Sales Manager - Government Ministries

Job Location: Delhi, India

Department : AI Sales

Exp : Must have at least 4-8 years SaaS solution sales exp in AI/ML/DL/Speech recognition technologies

Your end clients : Central Government Ministries at NCR region (at least 4 years exp is a MUST)

Joining time : 1 week

Company : Well funded AI Startup at Bangalore

Overall exp should be min 10-20 years

Designation: Regional Sales Manager

Nature of role : Hunter/Purely Individual Contributor (NO team given)

Skills Required :

- Designing and executing business strategies in the defined territories

- Successfully forecast and drive achievement of revenues from the assigned territories

- Experience in anchoring and managing complex business engagements

- Hands-on experience in all procurement models prevalent in government

- Proven negotiation expertise, 80% of the total experience should be in managing central governments Ministries

- Must have worked in at least 6 years recently in NCR region and should be resided in Delhi

- Excellent communication skills

Desirable Skills :

Experience in working with cross-functional teams and a proven team player in a large MNC


- Ability to draft and manage RFP and responses


- Current and active relationships with large consulting firms and SIs


- Experience in building a territory from little or nothing


- Skilled at driving and anchoring discussions with bureaucrats and ministers single-handedly


- Ability to develop a deep understanding of customer needs and create value propositions

Job Description:

- This position is for Government sales based out of Delhi.


- The focus for this position will be to further build on the government engagement and business acquisition at central and state level.


- The role requires deep engagement with ministries and at the same time buildng strategic relationships with large SIs and consulting firms, who are active in this space.

This role will be responsible for designing and executing business strategies in the defined territories.
