Sygitech Solutions - Sales Head - Managed Services & Cloud (6-10 yrs)
- The ideal candidate would possess some of the following competencies :
- Translate the organizations vision, mission, and values into a meaningful context that sales teams can relate to and feel excited by.
- Work with sales leadership to generate ideas for sales contests and motivational initiatives.
- Ensure correct usage of CRM and other sales applications.
- Identify, validate & drive new opportunities for Managed IT service, IT consulting, Cloud management and solutions
- Responsible for managing the entire gamut of sales operations of the Company
- Secure business retention & increase market share
- Excellent Written and verbal communication
- Analytical Ability
- The ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis
- Ability to attain targets
- Delegation: Confirm the ability to produce results through others, instead of trying to do it all themselves
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Build and Motivate the sales team to achieve the best results possible.
- Proven experience working with medium and large organisations and in pexecutives in technology companies.
- Business development, sales and delivery of IT based solutions to enterprises/institutions
- A proactive planner with expertise in business planning, market plan execution, client servicing with skills in competitor and market analysis.
- Responsible for revenue generation
- Developing business opportunities that are strategic from a revenue perspective or complex in nature, requiring high-level complex selling skills
- Setting activity and revenue targets for members of the sales team.
- Continual training and development of all members of the sales department.
- Attending key meetings with members of the sales team.
- Working on account management plans with the sales account managers.
- Identifying key areas for improvement in the sales process.
- Spotting market opportunities for new customers.
- Attending monthly meetings with other senior members of the business.
- All aspects of recruitment and selection for the sales department.
- Attending industry events and conferences to generate new business leads.
- Acting as a spokesperson for the organisation at sales events and conferences.
- Networking with other directors in order to generate new business for the company.
- Monthly reporting on sales performance against budget and reporting on variances.
- Previous experience successfully managing sales teams ideally from a similar industry.
- Professional sales training would be a strong advantage.
- Proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth in a business.
- Strong leadership skills and an ability to inspire sales teams.
- Open to travel extensively.
