Position : Regional Business Development Head - Telecom Services Location :

ROLE AND CONTEXT NEED TO DO NEED TO KNOW
Purpose:
The job holder is responsible for heading the Order Booking, Gross Margin, Business Development and GTM strategies for Telecom Services portfolio.
Main Priorities:
- Responsible in conceptualizing and roll out of various services around Telecom services which includes IOT,Network managed services, data services
- To work on opportunity identification along with the account team, at the same time independently handle/ address the opportunity for a closure and should be resilient and dynamic enough to produce results in an effective manner.
- The position provides requisite insights towards developing the pricing/commercial model for the solutions and win theme for deals.
- Drive the sales enablement process very strongly across the geographies and business through regional champions. Key Outputs:
- Responsible for Business Development & Performance, Implementing growth strategies.
- Selection of appropriate Go to Market.
- Collaborations with functional/ product teams and creating value proposition.
- Benchmarking competition on products and offerings and Market segmentation.
- Training of field staff and preparation of collaterals-, sales enablement materials and sales kit along with case studies
- Generating leads for the Business & work with the field staff to close deals.
- Qualifying & managing opportunities, developing product penetration strategies, building proposals/value creation, delivering presentations, negotiating and closing.
Relationships:
Internal
- Functional Heads, Product Team, Practice Heads, Technology Team, Marketing and Regional Sales.
External
- Strategic & Corporate Accounts, Channel Partners, vendors & OEM product partners
Reportees:
- The incumbent will be leading and managing LOB Specialist, BDM, Product Management teams.
Key Performance Metrics:
OB & Revenue Growth, Gross Margin, expanding market share, Customer Acquisition, Product Rollouts, cost management. Qualifications:
Engineering Graduate with MBA (Sales & Marketing) from reputed institute/ university preferably.
Skills/ Knowledge:
- Capability to own and drive major bid engagements, closing deals, managing virtual teams.
- Should have experience in working on Large Transformation/Network Integration deals.
- Strong communication skills (both written & verbal), relationship & selling skills
- Teaming, people management, relationship management, negotiation & business knowledge.
Experience:
- 15+ years in the above-mentioned capacity specifically as a Telecom specialist with a large Telecom services firm, high performer in solutions/ services sales.
- Significant experience in Business development solution/pre-sales support including pricing, presentations & customer facing negotiations on complex and/or major bids or deals.
