Swivl Tech is a rapidly growing company that provides field service businesses with tools to improve their operations and profitability. As a new domain, we are looking to hire an experienced SEO Expert to help us establish a strong online presence and improve our search engine rankings. The right candidate will be skilled in both on-page and technical SEO, comfortable working with WordPress, and experienced with implementing recommendations to improve site performance, user experience, and mobile optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- On-Page SEO: Perform comprehensive keyword research and implement on-page optimization strategies to improve content visibility, including meta tags, headers, URLs, and internal linking.
- Mobile Experience: Improve mobile responsiveness and optimize user experience on mobile devices, ensuring the site meets mobile-friendly standards.
- Crawling & Indexing: Ensure that all website pages are properly indexed and optimized for search engines, addressing any crawl errors and improving the site's overall indexability.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and improve page speed and overall site performance to ensure fast load times and an efficient user experience.
- User Experience (UX): Work with the web development team to enhance the overall UX, focusing on improving site navigation, reducing bounce rates, and increasing user engagement.
- Security: Collaborate with the development team to implement and maintain SEO security best practices, such as HTTPS, to protect user data and improve SEO.
- SEO Audits: Conduct regular SEO audits to identify technical issues, analyze backlinks, and track the site's SEO health using tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
- Content Strategy: Work closely with the content team to ensure all website content is optimized for SEO and aligned with the overall content strategy.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics, providing regular reports on keyword rankings, traffic, and conversion rates to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with WordPress and managing SEO for WordPress websites.
- In-depth knowledge of on-page SEO, technical SEO, and content optimization.
- Experience with mobile optimization and improving the mobile experience for websites.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console.
- Strong understanding of performance optimization, including page speed and load time improvements.
- Ability to collaborate with web developers to address crawling, indexing, and security issues.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Nice-to-Have:
- Previous experience working with new domain launches or startups.
- Knowledge of HubSpot recommendations and how to implement them for SEO.
- Understanding of the specific SEO needs for field service businesses.
