SwiftAMS - Manager - Business Development (0-5 yrs)
- As a Business Development Manager (BDM) for Swift AMS, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base. Your primary focus will be on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with prospects, and closing deals. You will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to develop and execute strategies that drive business growth. Your knowledge of the SaaS industry and excellent communication skills will be critical in articulating the value of our platform and securing partnerships and collaborations with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities :
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base and meet revenue targets.
2. Conduct market research to identify potential target segments, verticals, and key decision-makers.
3. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, industry events, and referrals.
4. Engage with prospects to understand their business needs and challenges, and effectively communicate how our SaaS platform can address those needs.
5. Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to prospects, highlighting the value proposition and competitive advantages of our platform.
6. Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and materials to support lead generation and conversion efforts.
7. Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with company objectives and revenue targets.
8. Collaborate closely with the Customer Success team to ensure a smooth transition of new customers and establish a strong foundation for long-term success.
9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape, providing insights and recommendations for product enhancements and market positioning.
10. Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to management.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
2. Proven track record of success in a business development or sales role, preferably in the SaaS industry.
3. Strong knowledge of the SaaS market, trends, and competitive landscape.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
5. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and decision-makers.
6. Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive deals to successful completion.
7. Highly self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
8. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, effectively leveraging internal resources to achieve business objectives.
9. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. A good listener, fast-learner and capable of aligning their goals and vision with those of the company.
