SALES TRAINER
Job brief
- We are looking for a Sales Trainer to design and deliver training programs for our sales team. Sales Trainer's responsibilities include onboarding new sales counsellors, conducting skill-gap analysis of existing counsellors, preparing learning material, delivering training sessions, assessing readiness after each training session, identifying overall readiness for going live, monitoring performance closely, analyzing re-training needs, and ensuring skill development of all team members.
- For this role, you will work closely with our sales counsellors to identify any challenges they face on the job and recommend ways to increase productivity. Ultimately, you will help improve the overall performance of our sales teams and ensure they have the right skills to achieve their goals.

Responsibilities :
- Design training curricula within time and budget constraints, with inputs from product marketing team, sales leads, and management
- Develop training resources and digital educational material (e.g. presentations, training tools)
- Onboard new salespeople by coordinating with HR team
- Conduct training on all topics including company, product, sales process, tools, policies, etc.
- Ensure the counsellors develop the recommended sales pitch with the highest quality, appropriate communication style, accurate product information, etc.
- Manage training schedule and conduct daily assessments of all trainees
- Lead the Quality Assurance and coordinate with Sales Team leadership to incorporate live-feedback
- Conduct mocks and skills gap analyses with all sales staff to identify areas of improvement
- Coordinate individual & team performance review sessions to discuss strength & weakness
- Monitor sales objectives and results
- Collect feedback from trainees and managers about training courses
- Report to the management on the impact of training programs on KPIs such as sales volume
- Liaise with external trainers or industry professionals and organize seminars
- Maintain updated records of training material, curricula and costs
Requirements :
- Proven work experience as a Sales Trainer or similar role
- Experience in a sales position or business development is a plus
- Ability to manage the entire training cycle, including in-person activities and web-based learning
- Hands-on experience with e-learning platforms
- Excellent organizational skills
- Solid communication and presentation abilities
- Additional certification in training is a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office / Google Documents and CRM systems
