Sulekha - Category Manager (1-5 yrs)
Responsibilities
1. Influence various activities around design, technology, and content to maximize consumer experience for that category
2. Ensure current revenue and as well as have an eye for future opportunities/growth
3. Understand the market, i.e. knowing our market share, market segments, being aware of competitors, their strategy, benchmarking on a regular basis
4. Share ideas and collaborate with other teams
5. Propose complete plan about new opportunities (could be internal/external) and coordinate complete execution of it
6. Giving a snapshot of their work
a. Track key performance indicators for the category
b. Going through our website/our consumer App to see any scope of improvement by getting into consumer and Service Provider shoes
c. Meeting/Talking to consumers on what information they want from our site
d. Constantly going through various forums to understand competitors and update a document on competitors, both in India and elsewhere
e. Based on b, c and d, flow can be laid out by coordinating with design, tech and content team
f. Coordinate the project mentioned in point
g. Go on field visits.
