StratMed - Engagement Manager - Sales (5-8 yrs)
Engagement Manager - Jaipur
Job Objective:
- To lead hospital engagement and onboarding function for the assigned region.
- To expand the network by acquiring new clients and to ensuring that existing memberships are maintained. To ensure that sourcing activities run smoothly.
- To negotiate the best rate contracts in line with the company's cost-cutting plans.
Key Responsibilities (What you will do) :
1. New Business/Client Acquisition :
- Implement the strategic roadmap and sales plan to onboard new clients and penetrate markets, expanding our brand's presence and reach throughout the region.
- As the brand's evangelist, pitch the story of how we effectively improve the performance of our member Hospitals, reduce cost, and thus positively impact patient care.
- Build deep relationships and networks with C-suite executives within the identified Healthcare facilities and Medical Manufacturers/Suppliers in the region.
- Own the key Hospital accounts in the region and ensure value proposition delivery and client success.
- Own the customer experience journey with the mission to improve the satisfaction of members onboarded with incremental improvements in their supply chain performance and commercial capabilities.
- Lead the market research function in the region to identify new business opportunities, existing trends and ensure long-term success of the company.
- Drive interest and adoption rate of our value proposition across the medical fraternity and practices.
2. Client Retention :
- Own the client relationship management function within the region, interact with key clients to maintain strong member relationships.
- To drive client retention by ensuring renewal of member Hospitals contracts
3. Onboarding Business Partners - Manufacturers / Distributors:
- Lead steps to initiate onboarding discussions with target manufacturers, follow-up till successful closure is reached.
- Ensure preferred pricing and transaction fees agreements are signed off.
- Invent negotiation strategies and secure profitable deals with vendors.
- Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers.
4. Management Reporting :
- Own the Internal Sourcing Review MIS ; update and maintain on a real-time basis.
- Create a system of gathering service requests from the Service Delivery (Operations) team with regard to vendor partners and timely closures on the same.
- Support all other Sourcing data information required by Management or Investors.
5. Ongoing Communication with Business Partners :
- Monthly Communication plan and inputs to manufacturers.
- Add to the company's supply portfolio and bring in transparency in sourcing and supply.
- Improve communication between network hospitals and our supplier partners, mitigating the risk of pharmaceutical and other consumables supply shortages.
6. Invoicing to Business Partners :
- Own the invoicing of vendors - ensure that invoices are raised timely and accurately every month, follow up on accounts receivables, as per agreement.
Expected Outcomes (What results will determine success):
- Number of Agreements signed off with manufactures/suppliers.
- Timely Rate Contracts made available for network hospitals.
- Timely and accurate Invoicing.
- Accurate Management Reporting and Timely Communication with partner manufacturers - % of Purchase value addressed, and Purchase orders released by the network hospitals.
- Savings % of all Hospital Projects Savings delivered to clients.
- Number of Hospitals Onboarded, Purchase Value increase.
- Client engagement pipeline created ability to generate strong leads. - Conversion% at each stage of the Sales funnel.
- New market penetration.
- Timely resolution of business roadblocks.
- Market insights and client profiling, new opportunities identified. - No. of member contract renewals
Primary Interfaces: Manufacturers, Suppliers, Internal Operations team
Qualifications & Experience :
- MBA from Tier II college with 5-8 years of business development/concept selling/Fulfilment experience.
- Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding sales figures achievement both individually and with highly successful teams.
- Good knowledge of the supply chain process, Storyteller, persuasive, and exceptional convincing skills.
- Strong project management, leadership skills, business acumen and detail oriented.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills.
