About the Role :
- Story Digital is looking for a Brand & Advertising professional who is skilled in leveraging clutter-breaking brand strategies and the creation of innovative & creative solutions across platforms.
- The role of a Digital Strategist demands a candidate with a vision, storytelling skills, knowledge of frameworks & models associated with Brand Building & Positioning, hands-on with research & key insights and has experience with meeting business & client objectives.
- Ideal candidates should have a strategy background from advertising/ media agencies or consultancy firms and have experience with cross-functional teams in a deadline-driven environment, proficient communication & team-management skills to ensure smooth inter-department collaboration.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Develop holistic strategies that can be applied across multiple business lines and channels.
2. Craft strategic platforms, strategic briefs, value propositions and messaging for various initiatives
3. Interact with lead account and creative teams at the agency to deliver smart, differentiated, and strategically grounded ideas to the client.
4. Collaborates across disciplines including creative, technology, media, etc. to create omnichannel marketing plans
5. Synthesize qualitative and quantitative research data from primary and secondary sources to provide strategic implications and creative inspiration
6. Develop detail-oriented strategically driven tactics, while maintaining an eye on the bigger picture
7. Develop and present effective and engaging briefs that inspire creative and lead to the development of exceptional creative work
8. Develop research-based POVs leveraging consumer trends/culture, technology, etc., that bring unique opportunities to light for our clients
9. Clearly articulate and compellingly present strategy and recommendations, both internally and to clients/partners
10. Work with performance team to design measurement, testing, and optimization mechanisms to evaluate and drive the success of campaigns
11. Inspire junior strategists with work products and deliverables
12. Comfortable with high pressure, fluid and ambiguous situations
13. Act as a steadfast champion for the customer and for the brand
What you need :
1. Ability to develop strategies for multiple channels, with a practical understanding of the technologies, tactics and data leveraged to achieve these strategies.
2. A critical thinker, able to distill a lot of information into cohesive strategies and recommendations.
3. Experience with customer experience planning, customer journey mapping and segmentation.
4. Solid grounding in research and behavioral analysis including both primary/secondary and qualitative / quantitative research methodologies.
5. Must be a polished, persuasive, and strategic communicator - both written and verbal/presentation.
6. You have a minimum of 2-4 years- work experience in direct/digital agencies, digital strategic consulting or marketing, communications or brand strategy.
7. You have a solid history of growth in a company with a variety of clients. Tech/telecom experience a plus.
8. Experience fostering and mentoring a team.
9. Bachelors or Masters required
