Sterling Auxiliaries - Senior Account Executive - Galata Chemicals (4-8 yrs)
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Knowledge of full General Ledger process.
- Good knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and IFRS.
- Internal controls knowledge sufficient to maintain high operating level of control environment.
- Prior knowledge and experience with SAP and other data tools preferable.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including pivot and look-up table functionalities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral is a must.
- Good quantitative, analytical, systemic and problem-solving skills.
- Team player with strong personal presence.
Essential Functions :
1. Assist in the accounting and reporting of assigned functional financial line items for all Galata Chemicals Business Units including but not limited to the preparation of bank reconciliations, analyzes and review of balance sheet accounts.
2. Analyzes and makes recommendations relative to accounting under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles relative to the areas of responsibility.
3. Assists in ensuring accuracy of financial statements and technical compliance to US GAAP, Internal Controls and company policy by review, verification, and analysis.
4. Participates in close process towards complete accuracy. Through analysis and collaboration with Business Units, understands business requirements and/or operational issues that may impact the financial statement and incorporates them as appropriate.
5. Analyzes and process journal entry requests with adequate support to comply with internal controls.
6. Analyzes balance sheet accounts to ensure all items are clearly identified aged and have support to stand on their own.
7. Performs key account analysis and/or prepares account reconciliations.
8. Compiles or assists in preparing schedules which analyze account activity on a monthly, quarterly and year-end basis as required, to meet the requirements of external auditors, financial institution and other external or internal parties.
9. Performs and analyzes special projects on an assigned basis.
Education/Equivalent : Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance required

- Fluent English Communication.
- Comfortable for 2pm to 10pm shift.
