Job Title: Executive/Senior Executive - Business Development
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Executive of Business Development to join our team. You will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our organization by expanding our client base and securing new business opportunities.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve organizational goals, expand market reach, and drive revenue growth.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals to prospective clients, showcasing our products/services, value proposition, and competitive advantage.
- Engage in effective negotiation with clients, leveraging your persuasive abilities to reach mutually beneficial agreements and secure new business opportunities.
- Set ambitious sales targets and actively work towards meeting and exceeding them.
- Cultivate strong and lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction, identifying their evolving needs, and exploring opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, analyze market trends, monitor competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
- Take a proactive approach to engage with clients, arrange meetings, and participate in negotiations to successfully close deals within specified timeframes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, to align business development strategies, enhance product offerings, and ensure seamless execution of client projects.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build a strong professional network, increase brand visibility, and identify partnership opportunities.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in business development, sales or a related role, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing deals. Experience in training industry is highly desirable.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and deliver engaging presentations.
- Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to influence and convince clients.
- Proven ability to set ambitious targets and consistently meet or exceed them. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify obstacles and develop effective strategies.
- Highly self-driven with the ability to work independently and take initiative. Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt quickly to changing business needs.
- Willingness to travel as needed to visit clients, attend meetings, and industry events.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools.
