POSITION GOALS

A knowledge management team is responsible for managing an organization's knowledge assets, including information, data, and expertise. The goal of the team is to improve information sharing, collaboration, and decision-making within the organization.

A technical writer's goals may include creating and maintaining technical documentation, collaborating with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy of documentation, and continuously improving documentation based on feedback from users and stakeholders.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, online help, and technical specifications.

2. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to gather information and ensure accuracy of documentation.

3. Create visual aids like images, process flows, etc., to enhance understanding of the concepts.

4. Continuously improve documentation based on the feedback from the stakeholders.

5. Develop and implement documentation standards and practices.

6. Manage and maintain documentation review and approval process.

7. Manage internal and external relations to ensure that stakeholders' requirements are fulfilled.

8. Participate in knowledge management initiatives to improve information sharing and collaboration within the organization.

9. Develop and maintain a knowledge base of frequently asked questions and common issues.

10. Work with the support team to identify common customer issues and develop documentation to address them.

11. Create tutorials, how-to guides, and other educational materials to help users learn about products and services.

12. Research and stay up to date with the process changes and updates.

13. Monitor customer feedback and usage data to identify areas for improvement in documentation.
