Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance - Assistant Branch Manager - Agency Sales (5-7 yrs)
Objective : The primary position responsibility is to achieve the targeted revenue & profitability.
Business Development & Result Orientation :
- In collaboration with the Regional Manager, ensuring the implementation of the Sales and action plan for the branch
- Ensure target achievement of the branch that the position is responsible for through the team of Life Plan Designer
- Leading and managing the front-line teams ensuring a high level of quality service to Customers/potential customers
- Actively engaging in the branch and community with focus on strong business development
Performance Management :
- Recruit, Select & build a team of producing Life Plan Designer
- Expectation setting, Training, Coaching and supporting the Life Plan Designers
- Drive, track, monitor and review the progress of Life Plan Designers to ensure achievement & over-achievement of their individual targets
- Retention of Life Plan Designers by success
- Implementation of Performance Management Framework for Life Plan Designers to ensure greater success & growth for producing Life Plan Designers. To continuously lift the delivery of the channel provide inputs to the Life Plan Designers producing below bench mark levels and initiate appropriate interventions to enhance skills & productivity
Persistency :
- Ensure desired quality of business, need based selling & right product mix to achieve the required persistency standards
- Monitor collection of FYP and Renewal premiums
- Be responsible for cost management & profitability of the branch
Stakeholder Management
- Maintain utmost levels of responsiveness to requirements from the Regional/Channel Head
- In addition to the Regional Manager - Agency & Life Plan Designer, position requires interaction with - Zonal & Regional HR, other Agency officials at HO & ZTM and Training team
