Star Global Currency Exchange - National Telesales Manager (3-5 yrs)
Job Description- National Telesales Manager (Female)
Responsibility:-
Research and contact prospective clients, qualify leads and arrange suitable
Appointments for the branch Heads/Sales/Business Development Managers & Executive Director.
Call and maintain relationships with SME Corporate customers
Contact data will come from Executive Directors office & Branch Heads.
The candidate will also research prospective companies to obtain contact details and basic operating information.
Key Tasks:-
Qualify sales leads in line with SGCEPL's target customer criteria
Generate and block appointments for branch Heads/Sales/Business Development Managers & Executive Director.
Contact new prospect accounts on a weekly basis
Establish new relationships be researching, adding and developing new clients.
Maintain existing client relationships, in particular, those which are not actively visited by SGCEPL sales personnel
Collate information on prospective clients, even where an appointment is not obtained
Actively manage the client database to ensure information is accurate and kept up to date for direct mailing activities. Identify past prospects due for follow up calls.
Log all calls and monitor success rates
Produce regular reports on activity levels
Follow-up specific marketing campaigns (Travel Card Issuing Banks)
Work with SGCEPL sales to support them in achieving sales sales objectives
Present SGCEPL in an accurate and positive manner on the phone
Send out company information to potential accounts when necessary
Skills and Qualifications:-
Essential
Intelligent and quick writer, able to rapidly assimilate new products and services Fluent English & Hindi
Excellent oral communication skills and superb listening skills
Professional phone manner with a consultative approach and tone of voice
Highly organised and self-motived with the ability to priorities tasks
Confident in overcoming rejection and setting challenging goals on a daily basis
Must be able to work accurately, under pressure, to meet strict deadlines
Interpersonal skills to work with staff across the whole company
Graduate
Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
Desirable
Kannada, Tamil, Telugu & Marathi Language skills
Post Graduate diploma (PGD) level education or equivalent in Sales & Marketing
Experience:-
Essential
Demonstrable success in Telesales, Telemarketing or tele-research roles including setting
Appointments for sales colleagues
Experienced in calling at director level in enterprise class organisations
Effective in exposing prospects key business drivers and matching these to company capabilities
Have sufficient analytical experience to complete research that identifies relevant information on prospective customers
Commercially minded with experience of working to achieve targets
Experience of working with contact databases
3 to 5 years PQE
Desirable
Experience of supporting commercial teams
Experience of implementing changes in the telesales process
