About the Role
Star Global Currency Exchange Pvt. Ltd (SGCEPL) is looking for a self-motivated and customer focused sales professional to join its high performance Team at the branch location. This role will require the individual to successfully juggle both the acquisition and relationship aspects associated with acquiring and managing Corporate Clients in a highly competitive industry, where relationship is key.
The successful candidate will have the Goal on the number of new accounts successfully activated along with the revenue derived from those accounts. To ensure the long term success of the business, all Business Development Managers are also responsible on the effective management of new accounts for the first 12 months working with Branch Head, and the successful transition of these accounts to the Operations team. In the fast paced Foreign Exchange market nothing will ensure success more than a focus on productivity, service and enthusiasm.
A successful candidate would be expected to rotate their time between attending self generated appointments on a weekly basis, making a minimum of 25 cold calls per day, and managing the needs of their existing clients. The target market for our services is corporate Clients who have requirements of foreign exchange for their employees going abroad for business visits.
Having a good understanding of the Foreign Exchange(Money Changing/FFMC) business and a strong history with a financial services provider in a sales role would certainly support your candidacy.
The ideal candidate would also have a strong level of economic knowledge to facilitate meaningful discussions with decision makers on a daily basis. A strong level of financial acumen is a must. As the face of SGCEPL for the customer, your ability to effectively build and leverage internal relationships will support you in exceeding your revenue and acquisition KRAs.

Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of corporate / business sales experience preferably in the financial services sector Proven track record in consistently over delivering against a revenue target
Team player who has exceptional presentation skills, time management skills and ability to work under pressure and meet allocated deadlines
Self motivated with abilities in influencing/negotiating with customers
Strong level of financial acumen laying the platform to create long lasting consultative relationships with our clients
Strong level of credibility and presence in front of prospects and clients
Degree education
Ability to liaise with local language speaking clients will be an advantage
