Job Summary :
As a Sales Officer in the FMCG sector, you will be responsible for promoting and selling the company's products to customers, retailers within your assigned territory. Your role involves meeting sales targets, building strong relationships with clients, and ensuring the availability of products in the market. This position requires effective communication, sales skills, and a deep understanding of the FMCG industry.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Execute the sales strategy to achieve or exceed sales targets.
2. Identify and prospect potential customers, retailers, and distributors within the assigned territory.
3. Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
4. Conduct regular market visits to assess product availability and competitor activities.
5. Address customer feedback, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally.
6. Build and maintain long-term relationships to enhance customer loyalty..
7. Prepare and submit regular sales reports and market intelligence to the sales manager.
8. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
9. Provide feedback to the sales manager on market conditions and opportunities.
10. Collaborate with the sales team to meet overall sales department goals.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Previous experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG industry.
2. Strong understanding of FMCG products and market dynamics.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
5. Results-driven with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
6. Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
