Sri Sri Tattva - Assistant Manager - Marketplace Sales (3-9 yrs)
- As an Assistant Manager - Marketplace Sales, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our company's presence on various online marketplaces. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies to maximize sales, optimize product listings, and enhance the overall performance of our marketplace channels. Your expertise in marketplace management, eCommerce, and relationship building will be instrumental in driving our marketplace growth and profitability.
Responsibilities :
1. Marketplace Strategy Development : Develop and implement a comprehensive marketplace strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Identify new marketplace opportunities, evaluate their potential, and recommend expansion plans. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in marketplace policies and algorithms.
2. Marketplace Account Management : Manage and optimize our presence on various online marketplaces, such as Zepto, Tata 1mg, Pharmeasy, Netmeds, JioMart, Swiggy Instamart, Zomato and others
3. Establish and maintain strong relationships with marketplace representatives, ensuring compliance with marketplace policies and requirements.
4. Product Listing Optimization : Optimize product listings on marketplaces to enhance visibility, conversion rates, and sales. Conduct keyword research and utilize SEO techniques to improve search rankings. Create compelling product descriptions, images, and other content to maximize customer engagement and purchase decisions.
5. Pricing and Promotion Strategies : Develop pricing strategies and promotions tailored to each marketplace, considering factors such as competition, demand, and profitability. Monitor pricing trends and competitor activities to make informed pricing decisions. Coordinate with the marketing team to execute effective marketplace-specific promotions.
6. Inventory and Order Management : Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock availability on marketplaces. Coordinate with the supply chain team to optimize inventory management and fulfillment processes. Oversee order processing, shipment tracking, and customer communication to ensure a seamless customer experience.
7. Performance Monitoring and Analysis : Utilize marketplace analytics tools and reporting features to track and analyze key performance metrics, including sales, conversion rates, customer reviews, and seller ratings. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance marketplace performance.
8. Marketplace Compliance and Policies : Stay informed about marketplace policies, rules, and regulations. Ensure compliance with marketplace guidelines, product listing requirements, and performance standards. Resolve any issues related to policy violations, customer disputes, or account suspensions.
9. Competitive Analysis : Monitor competitor activities and marketplace trends to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the competition. Analyze competitor pricing, product assortment, promotional strategies, and customer reviews to make informed decisions and optimize marketplace performance.
10. Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with marketplace representatives, including account managers, support teams, and advertising specialists. Collaborate with them to resolve issues, leverage promotional opportunities, and stay updated on platform developments and best practice
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Additional certifications or training in eCommerce and marketplace management are a plus.
2. Proven experience in managing online marketplaces, preferably in a retail or eCommerce environment.
3. Strong understanding of various online marketplaces, their policies, and best practices.
4. Proficiency in utilizing marketplace seller portals and analytics tools.
