Spotflock - Sales Role (5-7 yrs)
Job Summary :
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Resource with Government Sales experience to drive revenue growth by selling our products and services to government agencies. The Sales Resource will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities with government clients and maintaining relationships with existing clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of government procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth in the government sector.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities with government clients, including federal, state, and local agencies.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in government agencies.
- Understand and navigate government procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations.
- Track and report on sales performance metrics, including pipeline development, win/loss ratios, and revenue forecasts.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, government regulations, and competitive landscape.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in government sales.
- Deep understanding of government procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools is preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances as required.
