Sports Flashes - Expert - SEO & Ad Operations (2-5 yrs)
Job Brief:
We are looking for an SEO & Ad Ops expert to manage all search engine optimization and marketing activities. He/She should have worked on ad servers and tools like DFP, DFA, OpenX, Zedo etc. You will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks. Experience in display ad and ad optimization is mandatory.
The needed SEO's skill set
- Experience with Google and Bing's services, including Analytics and Webmaster Tools
- Experience with Google's Keyword Tool
- A functional understanding of HTML and CSS
- The ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills
- Proven success in link building and viral strategies
- The ability to deploy an effective local and long-tail search strategy
- A deep understanding of mobile strategy and how it relates to SEO
- A solid grasp of how blogging, press releases, social media, and related strategies go hand-in-hand with SEO
- Experience in building inbound organic search traffic and improving SERPs
- A background in creating reports showing web analytics data and site evaluations
- An up-to-date, working knowledge of current, past, and projected trends in the SEO industry
Key skills Ad Ops
- 2-4 years of experience in ad serving and ad management technologies such as SSP, double click for publishers, Google Adx, Openx, Demand Side Platform(DSP), Private Market Place (PMP) ADTECH etc.
- Experience using third party Ad serving Tools like DFA, ATLAS, MediaMind, EyeBlaster etc.
- Knowledge of Real Time Bidding tools and exchanges like Google Ad exchange, PubMatic, AdRoll etc.
- Familiarity with internet programming and debugging, common browser-based debugging tools (Live HTTP Headers, Firebug, Charles, Fiddler)
- Ability to integrate display Ad delivery for Rich media, Mobile and Several custom ads.
- Ad Operations Campaign Management
- Ad Trafficking Operations Management
Supplementary skills: PHP, UX, IA, CRO, SEM, Content Strategy
Professional Skills & Qualifications
- 2 - 5 year's experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tool
- Experience working with popular keyword tools (Google, WordTracker, Keyword Discovery, etc)
- Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in CMS environments
- Desired: Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administrations
- BS/BA degree preferred
