Founded by a serial tech-entrepreneur in 2016, we are an 8-member team across product, tech, marketing and business development. We have a rapidly growing base of 30k+ users in New Delhi and are now launching in Australia.
What is the role?
We are looking for a features writer for our partners in India and Australia. This role is ideal for anyone who loves editing, writing, and is obsessed with researching and telling stories about Sports.
Key Duties and Responsibilities :
1. Ideating and creating compelling content about Sports and Fitness experiences
2. Collaborate with business teams to conceptualize and polish future story assignments that engage our audience and drive sales
3. Take images and edit them to suit relevant storylines
4. Liaise with internal stakeholders like sales, marketing, content to deliver on KPI's
5. Research to find out about new Service Providers
6. Review existing content for quality and accuracy
Requirements :
1. Bachelor's degree
2. 1-4 years of experience in creating creative content or editorials for digital mediums - preference for background in Sports and related content
3. Strong writing/editing skills
4. Willingness to travel to various parts of Delhi in search of good content
5. Basic knowledge of graphic design, multimedia content, social media and online publishing. Meticulous planning capability.
6. Must be self-motivated and should be able to meet tight deadlines
7. A strong aesthetic sense, attention to detail, ability to collaborate
8. Familiarity with SEO best practices
9. Must be self-motivated and should able to meet tight daily deadlines
10. People skills to manage internal stakeholders like Editors, Creative and Business teams
