Sponsorship Sales Role - Event Management Firm (2-10 yrs)
Roles and responsibilities :
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sponsorship strategy to attract diverse sponsors that align with our expo themes and objectives.
- Identify and research potential sponsors, exhibitors, and partners who can add value to our expos and enhance the overall attendee experience.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at potential sponsors, understanding their marketing goals and tailoring sponsorship packages to meet their specific needs.
- Create compelling and tailored sponsorship proposals that highlight the unique benefits of partnering with our expos, including brand exposure, lead generation, and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the expo management team to ensure seamless activation and execution of sponsorships, ensuring sponsors receive maximum visibility and ROI during the event.
- Work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Events, and PR, to align sponsorship activities with broader marketing strategies and ensure cohesive brand messaging.
- Represent our organization at industry events and conferences to build and maintain relationships with potential sponsors and partners.
Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in expo sponsorship sales, or related business development roles within the events industry.
- Strong understanding of expo sponsorship trends, market dynamics, and the ability to identify new opportunities for sponsorship growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
- Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
