The responsibilities and the main duties of the BDE can be summarized as follows:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for closing new business from new accounts. It requires the ability to prospecting for new clients by calling, other means of generating interest in potential clients, Work from Home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls.
- Reaching out to new customers and explaining them the benefits of products.
- Analyzing customer's requirements and providing them solutions as per their needs. Meeting up the regular Business Development Targets.
- Should be able to explain the process to prospective leads.
- Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting.
- Achieving sales targets by acquiring new clients.
What does it take to be successful in this role?
- Good Convincing, Communication, Negotiation and Analytical Skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Familiar with the sales process from initiation to close.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Experienced in sales into e-commerce industry or experienced in telesales, tele caller or experienced BPO/KPO.
