Specscart - Senior Content Writer (3-6 yrs)
Specscart is the fastest-growing eyewear business in the UK, on a mission to revolutionise the eyewear industry by changing the way people perceive eyeglasses. In just six years, weve achieved an impressive year-on-year growth of over 100%+. We currently operate three smart retail stores in the UK, including a state-of-the-art glazing lab in Bury, Manchester. We are currently looking for a Senior Content Writer to join us at our IT headquarters in India.
Job brief :
Sr. Content Writer responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and creating unique and quality content. If you are familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we would like to meet you. Feel free to share samples of your work or portfolio of your published articles, along with your application. Ultimately, you'll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness.
Responsibilities :
- Research industry-related topic.
- Write blog posts for publications.
- Writing different forms (blogs, web pages, product descriptions, off-page content, etc.) of user-centric quality content for the brand.
- Use the latest practices of on-page SEO while writing the content
- Proofread content to deliver the expected quality guidelines
Requirements :
- Proven work experience as a Sr. Content Writer, Content Writer, editor or similar role
- Portfolio of published articles
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Familiarity with web publications
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems
- Bachelors in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
