SPAR Hypermarkets - Category Manager - Sales - Sugar & Dry Fruits Segment (4-10 yrs)
Purpose of Role :
Manage P&L for Dry Fruits & Pulses categories within Grocery business. The annual turnover would be approximately 75 Cr. The role is expected to develop, implement and deliver category plans including range reviews, promotions pricing and stock that are consistent with overall commercial strategy and financial objectives.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and implement marketing promotion plans and strategies.
- Manage and review pricing, ensuring pricing that is competitive and maximizes profitability. Manage inventory as per norms.
- Work with Own/Value Brand team to develop and deliver Own Brand products/ranges.
- Adopt appropriate negotiation strategies to attain the best terms for the category and the business.
- Category expertise & product understanding - utilize and continually develop knowledge in category products, competitors and market activity to deliver increased category performance objectives.
